‘Crow Talk’ book party April 29

HOOD RIVER — Celebrate the paperback release of Eileen Garvin’s latest novel, “Crow Talk,” with a free book party beginning at 6 p.m. on April 29 at Working Hands, 1021 12th Street, Hood River.

Waucoma Bookstore will have copies of Garvin’s book for purchase, and all are invited to attend.

Music by Lady Eight — of which Garvin is a member — will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Garvin will discuss the book at 7:30 p.m., which will be followed by a book signing and music by Red Robe Revival.

Garvin’s debut novel, “The Music of Bees,” was released in 2021 and “swept readers away to Oregon’s Hood River Valley and offered a much-needed escape after a year of isolation,” said a press release. It became a national bestseller. “Crow Talk” was released last spring.
