Bridge work hours change

Heading across the Hood River Interstate Bridge this week? Aug. 8-11, this backup of cars is likely what you will encounter as crews continue bridge deck work on the span, though the Port of Hood River has altered the timing of the work for the rest of the week. New hours are 8 a.m. and noon Tuesday though Friday. There will be intermittent single lane closures, each approximately 15 minutes in duration. Bridge users should expect delays of 15-25 minutes during these hours. Flaggers will be on the bridge to direct traffic and ensure safety for work crews.
