Wednesday Season 3 will feature the new addition Eva Green as Ophelia, aunt to Wednesday and sister to Morticia. Her role was teased at the end of Wednesday Season 2, as the mysterious figure stared at a wall with the words “Wednesday Must Die,” scrawled across it in blood. “I’m thrilled to join the woefully twisted world of Wednesday as Aunt Ophelia,” Green shared in a statement. “This show is such a deliciously dark and witty world, I can’t wait to bring my own touch of cuckooness to the Addams family.”
Showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar stated, “Eva Green has always brought an exhilarating, singular presence to the screen — elegant, haunting and beautifully unpredictable.
