It’s all fun and games on the new season of Password until Anthony Anderson scares a contestant on the Season 3 premiere. The clue called for him to do that as he tried to win points for a contestant.
Password returns for a third season on Tuesday, June 2, at 10/9c, right after America’s Got Talent. More celebrity guests will try to help everyday people win up to $25,000 as they say one-word clues to get them to say the password on the card.
In an exclusive clip obtained by us, Anderson and Fallon have to get their teammates to guess the word “Rage” in the category “Passwords That Are Red.” The round resulted in hilarious voices and expressions from the men until one teammate guessed it.
Anderson decided to play and started off by shouting “Angry” in a deep voice. “Oh my God!” the contestant whispered. The Blackish star repeated the word in the same tone, which made host Keke Palmer laugh.
“You’re scaring her,” Fallon said.
“I know! I’m trying to. It’s the word,” Anderson replied.
“Ok! Alright. Alright,” Fallon replied as the audience laughed.
The contestant guessed “Fury,” which was not right. The turn moved to Fallon and his teammate. He said “Cage,” and his teammate guessed “Match.”
In a creepy, low voice, Anderson said, “Quiet,” to which his teammate guessed “Animalistic.” For the next clue, Fallon shook and screamed, “Road!”
“Ooo, that’s a good one,” Anderson said. Fallon repeated the word and made his teammate jump. She guessed “Furious.”
When the turn went back to Anderson and his teammate, she told him to “Say whatever.” So, Anderson actually said the word “Whatever,” and his teammate guessed “Rage,” which gave them two points.
Fallon put his head on the desk in defeat, even though his team already had seven points by then. Anderson’s team just got on the board.
Find out how the rest of the game plays out on Tuesday. Then, tune in week after week to see more people win money and share laughs.
