Get ready for another star-studded season! Celebrity Jeopardy! is set to return for a fifth season.
The game show crowned ESPN‘s Mina Kimes as the champion for its All-Star season, which was its fourth, on May 15. Now, a whole new crowd of celebrities will hit their buzzers for a chance to win money for charity.
Celebrity Jeopardy! was renewed, along with Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, on May 12 at the Disney Upfronts.
“We enter this fall season from a position of undeniable strength,” Craig Erwich, president of Disney Television Group, said in a press release. “Our focus has always been simple: Make the best shows on television and get them to audiences however they want to watch. That strategy continues to drive the success of ABC and Hulu — from legacy hits being embraced by new generations to breakout series becoming the next cultural touchstones. With a standout slate of comedies, dramas, unscripted and live programming, alongside marquee events like the Super Bowl, the College Football Playoff, the GRAMMYS, and the Oscars in 2027, our content engine is firing on all cylinders.”
Here is everything we know about the new season so far.
When will Season 5 of Celebrity Jeopardy! air?
Although an exact premiere date has not been announced, it is set to air in the fall of 2026. New episodes will air on Wednesday nights at 9/8c on ABC.
It is too soon to know who is in the cast, but it is expected to be all-new celebrities after the last was all-stars from Seasons 1 to 3.
What do the contestants win in Celebrity Jeopardy!?
The Celebrity Jeopardy! winner takes home $1 million for their chosen charity, and the Celebrity Jeopardy! trophy. They also most likely earn a spot in the Tournament of Champions.
Second and third place win $200,000 for their charities.
