When will the 2026 Golden Globes air?
The 2026 Golden Globes will air live on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 8/7c on CBS. The broadcast is scheduled to run for three hours and end at 11/10c. The ceremony will be broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton in California.
How can you watch the 2026 Golden Globes?
The Golden Globes can be watched live on CBS. Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers will have access to stream the awards via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as on demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream live, but will have access to on-demand the day after it airs.
Who is hosting the 2026 Golden Globes?
Golden Globe, Grammy, and Emmy-nominated comedian and actress Nikki Glaser will host the live broadcast for the second time. She also hosted the 2025 awards.

The presenters for the Golden Globes were announced on January 8. What is Golden Week?
Golden Eve is a new primetime special honoring the recipients of the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Carol Burnett Award that will kick off Golden Week. This will air on Thursday, January 8, at 8/7c on CBS and stream on Paramount+. It was announced on September 18 by CBS and Dick Clark Productions.
The special will feature curated career retrospectives, never-before-seen footage, and in-depth conversations with the honorees, who have not yet been announced.
Golden Week is a celebratory week-long event that will be held before the awards across Paramount networks. “We are so excited to expand our partnership with CBS and bring the Golden Globes to an even wider audience across the Paramount portfolio,” Jay Penske, CEO of Dick Clark Productions, said in a press release.
“With Golden Eve, we will celebrate the industry’s most talented and influential figures, recognizing the recipients of the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award and Carol Burnett Award. This is a chance to properly honor those who have so profoundly shaped our culture with more than a 2-minute awards moment. This event and special will occur during ‘Golden Week,’ a premier cross-platform initiative with CBS that transforms the Globes into a multi-day cultural event, making it a cornerstone of the awards season.”

Carol Burnett, Colman Domingo, Kristin Davis, Tessa Thompson, and Vin Diesel will make appearances on the Golden Eve special, which is now titled Golden Eve: The Golden Globes Honor Helen Mirren & Sarah Jessica Parker.

Who is receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Award?

It was announced on November 5 in a press release that Helen Mirren will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award. This award celebrates the three-time Golden Globe winner’s extraordinary contributions to the world of entertainment. The award will be presented to her on Golden Eve. The Carol Burnett Award will also be given away at that time. The recipient for that award has not yet been announced.
“Helen Mirren is a force of nature, and her career is nothing short of extraordinary,” Helen Hoehne, president of the Golden Globes, said in a statement. “Her transcendent performances and commitment to her craft continue to inspire generations of artists and audiences alike. It is a profound honor to present her with the Cecil B. DeMille Award.”
The Oscar, Emmy, SAG, BAFTA, and Tony Award-winning actress has a six-decade spanning career in film, television, and theater, including portrayals of Queen Elizabeth II in numerous roles.
Harrison Ford will present the award to Mirren, as announced in a press release on January 6. 2025’s Cecil B. DeMille winner, Viola Davis, will also appear on the special.
Who is receiving the Carol Burnett Award?

It was announced on November 13 that six-time Golden Globe winner Sarah Jessica Parker will receive the Carol Burnett Award. This award recognizes an actor’s contributions to the TV industry in front of and behind the camera. It is named after the actress/comedian Carol Burnett.
“Sarah Jessica Parker’s career embodies the very spirit of the Carol Burnett Award,” Helen Hoehne, president of the Golden Globes, said in a press release. “Her trailblazing impact on television and her dedication to storytelling across stage and screen have left an indelible mark on popular culture. We are honored to celebrate her extraordinary contributions to entertainment.”
Parker is best known for playing Carrie Bradshaw in the series Sex and the City, as well as its sequel, And Just Like That. She has also had a career in film and on stage, including Hocus Pocus and its sequel, Failure to Launch, The First Wives’ Club, and many more.
Ted Danson, 2025’s recipient, will present the award to Parker.
