HOOD RIVER — On Feb. 2, the U.S. Marshal’s Service joined Hood River County Sheriff’s Office  (HRCSO) to search the Parkdale area for a local fugitive wanted on multiple local felony charges, according to a HRCSO press release.

“We are aware that any time these activities occur in the area, there is community concern that immigration enforcement may be involved. As a reminder, [HRCSO] does not assist in immigration enforcement, as prohibited by state law,” read the press release.
