THE DALLES — The No. 7-ranked The Dalles High Riverhawks (5-3 TVC, 9-3 overall) won two straight Tri Valley Conference boys soccer games last week to solidify their 4A state playoff position.

The Riverhawks won 2-0 at home on Oct. 14 over the No. 8-ranked Madras High White Buffaloes (5-1-2 TVC, 7-3-2 overall), followed by a 2-1 road win over the Gladstone High Gladiators (2-6 TVC, 4-8 overall) on Oct. 17.
