HOOD RIVER — Arts in Education of the Gorge and Columbia Center for the Arts present “Creating Together Family Day,” a free day of participatory art-making in the gallery and performances in the theatre, on Saturday, April 13. This free event is open to all.
In the gallery, help create an enormous cardboard wonderland to celebrate all the brilliance of spring with the guidance of AIEG teaching artists. Drop in anytime from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be three performances in the theater; seating is first come, first served.
10:30 a.m. — Fun maker Mo Phillips (all ages)
3 p.m. — Storyteller Jefferson Green (all ages)
5 p.m. — Kickstand Comedy Improv Theater (13 and up)
On Saturday, April 20, the young dancers of OBT2 share the artistry, ability, professionalism, and innovation of Oregon Ballet Theater with live audiences. OBT2, Oregon Ballet Theater’s second company, will perform a selection of ballet pieces and feature work by Ben Stevenson, Shannon Alvis, and Dominic Walsh. Tickets are $25 adults and $21 stu-dents/seniors, and available at columbiaarts.org.
