Romp through the last dog days of summer with Plays for Non-Profits production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein acclaimed musical Oklahoma! The show comes to life on stage at the Hood River Middle School opening August 5. According to Lynda Dallman, “This is our first PNP musical production and we are fortunate to be working with talented Columbia Gorge Dance Academy instructors, Charlotte Arnold and Susan Sorenson, and the CGDA Company Dancers to create the amazing dance numbers for this show. Bill Weiler with assistance from Emily Vawter combine forces to meet the vocal demands of this much loved musical. We are fortunate to have Linda Taylor as our pianist for this production. Oklahoma! is directed by Dallman, with solid support from co-producers Bruce Ludwig and Lisa Roth and Marketing Coordinator, Catherine Butler. “My dream is to continue to grow PNP as a repertory company for local artists—a place where they not only stretch their skills and entertain audiences, but one where they can take pride in supporting the needs of our community.” Proceeds from this production of Oklahoma! benefit local non-profits The Next Door and CGDA Company Dancers. Jean Harmon, Paul Randall and Hood River Public Storage along with Ruddy Duck and Mike’s Ice Cream are proud sponsors of this show. Oklahoma! shows at Hood River Middle School August 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20 shows at 7:30 p.m. Ticket Prices: $20 Adults, $15 students, seniors and groups of 10 or more.
