Rick Ragan Collection: Joe Kollas Photos and Mt. Hood National Forest maps

Last week’s “mystery,” above, was a photograph of climbers on Mt. Hood, taken July 1969. Nobody called in to tell us who these climbers, who seem to have names on their helmets, were. But an online commenter informed Hood River History Museum, which first published this photo, that the guy in the middle is James Cagle. Still curious about the rest of them!
