WASCO CO. — Oregon Retired Educators Association (OREA), the Oregon State Fair Foundation, the City of Salem, and others continue to provide maintenance and upgrades to the Criterion School — built in 1912 near Maupin and operated as such until 1925 — which has resided at the Oregon State Fairgrounds since 1976.

THE DALLES — This fall, The Dalles Art Center (TDAC) will come alive with color, rhythm, and flavor during its upcoming Hispanic Heritage Exhibit, an immersive, five-week celebration of Latino/a/e/x culture through visual arts, music, dance, food, and storytelling. TDAC is currently seeking visual artists, cultural instructors, performers, and Hispanic-owned food vendors to participate in this vibrant, community-centered event series.
