“Mamma Mia!” has preformed to sold-out audiences at Wy’east Middle School, and it closes this weekend. Mark Steighner directs and Susan Sorenson provided choreography in the song-and-dance-filled musical formed around the greatest hits of the 1970s band ABBA. See Happenings, page B3, for tickets and times details. Here, a trio of potential fathers all show up at a wedding on a Greek island, to the dismay of mother-of-the bride. Amber and The Pale Ales at The Pines

Coming up Friday, March 22 from 6-9 p.m.: The Pale Ales are a four-piece acoustic folk-rock band playing covers and originals, incorporating three-part harmonies and melodic guitar solos. The band consists of Rob Guidera on guitar and vocals, Glen Holmberg on guitar and vocals, and George Bentz on bass guitar, and Amber Nelson on lead vocals.
