A creative writing and illustration class for children will be presented Jan. 3 at The Dalles Art Center studio classroom between 10 a.m. and noon.

Instructor Lettie Young will help children explore various brainstorming techniques for writing short stories. All children who love to draw or write are welcome. Each student will take home a sketchbook.
