THE GORGE — As the coldest months of the year approach, brokers from Windermere Real Estate are teaming up to Share the Warmth and help provide winter necessities for those in need. As part of the annual campaign, the Windermere offices in the Columbia River Gorge area will be collecting donations now until Dec. 20 to benefit the Gorge Warming Shelter, the Washington Gorge Action Program and the Youth Empowerment Shelter. The organizations are specifically asking for blankets and coats in all sizes.
Those who want to help can stop by participating Windermere offices to drop off donations. Donations can be dropped off on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at any of the following Windermere drop-off locations:
• Hood River, 501 Portway Ave., third floor
• The Dalles, 122 E. Second
• Goldendale, 103 E. Main
• Bingen, 106 W Steuben
• Stevenson, 220 SW Second St.
“Year after year, Share the Warmth brings together Windermere Real Estate brokers and caring community members to ensure our neighbors are well-equipped for winter,” said Scott Mitchelson, president of Windermere Services Company in Oregon and SW Washington. “This campaign is one of the many ways our brokers are collectively committed to helping the communities they serve.”
