Meihong, 39 years old and her registered address was in Butte, Montana. She traveled a lot, TDPD Chief Tom Worthy said, and may have stayed in The Dalles.
She was last heard from on May 25, 2025 when she spoke to her sister over the phone. Meihong was staying in Glenwood, Washington.
Her fiancé states he her off on Highway 14 near Underwood, Washington, to go fishing with friends from Seattle, according to Klickitat County Sheriff's Office records.
Her family has been informed of her death.
In the weeks after her body was found by the purchaser of the abandoned storage unit, detectives have followed up on leads and tips in California, Washington, Utah, Nevada and Colorado.
The Mid-Columbia Major Crimes Team identified a person of interest in this case, Richard Michael Robinson, called “Mike,” a 59-year-old white male from The Dalles, who also spent time in Klickitat County, where Meihong vanished.

He awaits extradition to Oregon from the Larimer County Jail.
Robinson was previously convicted of first and second degree child molestation in Skagit County, Washington in 2002. A warrant for failing to register as a sex offender was failed from Wasco County in December 2024, according to NBC Montana.
