The truck was leaking antifreeze and water, but police on scene said there is no threat to traffic.
ODELL - At approximately 9 a.m. a grocery truck overturned taking a sharp turn on Odell Highway. No injuries were reported.
According to officers on scene with the Hood River County Sheriff Department, it is unclear if the driver took the turn too sharp or was not paying attention. The driver approached the turn at 30 miles per hour and landed on its side.Â
Officers said the truck was leaking antifreeze and water, but did not pose a threat to traffic.Â
At 9:30, a tow truck was dispatched.
According to police, the driver did not have his Commercial Driver's License (CDL), but the driver believed he did not need one for this particular truck. Officers said they needed to determine the weight of the truck before potentially citing the driver. As of 9:30, it was unclear if the driver was issued a citation.
