Nurses, Providence reach deal

On Feb. 5, nurses and Providence have reached a tentative deal.

HOOD RIVER -  Today, the Oregon Nurses Association (ONA) and Providence Medical Group announced they have reached a tentative deal for nurses and physicians to return to work at all eight hospitals - including Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital.

A release from Providence said, "With encouragement from Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek, Providence and Oregon Nurses Association bargaining teams have been in mediation for the past week. We’re pleased to announce that complete tentative agreements have been reached with nurses at all eight of our Providence Oregon hospitals."
