THE DALLES — Crestline Construction, under contract with Maul Foster & Alongi (MFA), will be installing two sanitary manholes for the new lift station located on River Road. The work zone will be in front of 3020 W. Second St. Construction will take place between Jan. 8-18 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
This work will take place on weekdays, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of night closures due to the excavation area.
“During construction on W. Second Street, please use alternate routes to access your home or place of business as the road will be closed to through traffic,” said a Crestline press release. “The construction may impact local access to your home or place of business but all business will remain open. Please be sure to follow all traffic control changes. Also, please be alert and patient while passing heavy machinery and equipment, making eye contact with operators before approaching for safety.”

Crestline Construction will also install a 36-inch storm line across Klindt Drive and River Road. Construction will be periodic from Jan. 2-31, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. This work will take place on weekdays, Monday to Friday.
There will be detours directing traffic around and through the work zones.
“The construction may impact local access to your home or business,” said a press release. “Delays will be minimal and detour routes may add time to your travel. Please be patient and alert while passing through work zones.”
