THE DALLES — The Columbia Basin Care Foundation is again offering scholarships to support students in the Columbia River Gorge pursuing careers in healthcare. These scholarships provide financial assistance for education in a variety of health-related fields, including nursing, public health, nutrition, social services, and wellness. Recipients may use funds toward studies at any accredited college, university, or trade school.
Scholarships will be awarded in three categories:
Columbia River Gorge Residents Scholarship — Open to individuals living in Wasco, Sherman, Hood River, and Klickitat counties who are pursuing careers in healthcare.
Columbia Basin Care Employee Scholarship — Available to employees of Columbia Basin Care seeking to further their education in a health-related field.
Asher Anderson Memorial Scholarship — Honoring the legacy of Asher Anderson, this award supports individuals from the Columbia Gorge region or Columbia Basin Care employees pursuing a healthcare career.
Scholarship applications are available online at www.colbasin.com/foundation. Completed applications must be submitted via mail or email by June 30.
