The Klickitat County Planning Department has issued a "determination of non-significance" (DNS) and zone change request for a proposal to rezone 1.75 acres from Industrial Park to General Commercial.
The site is explained to be the parcel south of State Route 14 and between Depoe Road and the mobile home park in Lyle.
The applicant on the zoning change request is James Rutledge.
The DNS means the Planning Department "has determined that this proposal does not have a probable significant impact on the environment."
The proposal is scheduled for a public hearing before the Klickitat County Planning Commission on Nov. 18.
The deadline for appeals of the county's DNS is Oct. 17, at 5 p.m. The deadline for comments on the application is Nov. 7.
