Five years ago at its grand opening, Wind River Cellars guests were invited to sign a 12 liter bottle of 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon, the winery's inaugural vintage.
"To celebrate our five year anniversary, we will be opening this bottle on Saturday, April 27. We would like to extend an invitation to you and your friends to join us for this special event," said owner Kris Goodwillie.
The giant bottle is the last known 1995 Wind River Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon in existence.
Along with samples of this great bottle, Wind River Cellars will be serving appetizers and pouring samples from its library cellar as well as its current releases and its limited release wines.
The anniversary party will be held Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
