Nov. 23 to 25 will mark the 15th year that Wind River Cellars will host a Thanksgiving Weekend Winery Open House.
To mark the anniversary, the winery will be offering samples of every bottle of red wine they've ever produced, dating back to the 1995 vintage. This includes over a dozen vintages of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Tempranillo and Lemberger.
Winery owner Joel Goodwillie is excited for the event as well as the progress that the region has made since his inaugural vintage of 1995.
"Drawing crowds from Portland and Seattle to visit one or two wineries was a bit challenging back then," said Goodwillie. "Having so many other wineries helps make the trip more worthwhile. I'm extremely proud to be a part of that growth."
The open house will be from 10 a.m to 6 p.m each day.
Besides the impressive lineup of reserve library wines, which are no longer available, Wind River Cellars will also be offering its current releases.
"Wind River Cellars will always provide the full winery experience," said Goodwillie. "Our guests will always experience more than just a tasting room. We want them to experience the entire production process."
