Earl Nicholas Anderson and Stacey Paulette Jeter, both of Condon, Ore., announce their engagement.
Their parents are Randy and Barbara Anderson of Condon, Barbara Sorenson of Wisconsin, Stella and Carl Watts of White Salmon, and David Jeter of White Salmon.
The future groom is a 1995 graduate of Condon High School. He attended Portland Community College and Mt Hood Community College. He graduated from the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training and is currently employed as a deputy with the Gilliam County Sheriffs Office. He is also an EMT and volunteer firefighter.
The bride-to-be is a 1991 graduate of Columbia High School. She attended Spokane Falls Community College. She is currently employed with the United States Postal Service in Condon as the postmaster.
The couple plans a May 16, 2009, wedding at the United Church of Christ in Condon, Ore.
