Youth Football:
White Salmon's Black Knights fell to Stevenson, 14-0, in their final game of the 2008 Gorge Youth Football League regular season.
The Black Knights (2-4) couldn't get anything going offensively in last Saturday's game played in Hood River.
"The team had a total of less than 75 yards of offense," noted White Salmon program director Bill Ward. "Ryan Aldrich did complete a couple of passes, to Cameron Wang and R.J. Hicks, but, for the most part, those were the offensive highlights."
Defensively, the Black Knights got standout efforts from Aldrich, who had 15 tackles to go with one forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Keifer Kreps recorded eight tackles and a sack, and Jabal Gilbert and Kyle Guler each made eight tackles.
