The following defendants appeared in the Superior Court of Klickitat County Klickitat County on Sept. 21, 2009:
Dana James Sellers, 26, of White Salmon, pled guilty to attempted burglary in the second degree, criminal trespass in the first degree -- domestic violence, and theft in the third degree -- domestic violence involving two separate investigations. The defendant was sentenced to three months in the county jail and must pay all standard court costs totaling $2,795 including $250 to the Sheriff's Office Investigation Fund, $250 to the Goldendale Police Department Investigation Fund, and $500 jail costs. The defendant must also pay restitution to all the victims in amounts to be determined at later dates. The defendant will be under 24 months of court supervised probation.
Lars Andrew Melvin Jensen, 32, of Goldendale, pled guilty to theft in the first degree and bail jumping and was sentenced to five months in the county jail. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $3,040 including $250 to the Sheriff's Investigation Fund and $500 in jail costs. The defendant will also have to pay restitution to the victim in an amount to be determined at a later court hearing.
Thomas Patrick Collins, 31, of Modesto, Calif., pled guilty to theft in the second degree and was sentenced to 90 days in jail. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $1,865 including $250 to the Goldendale Police Department Investigation Fund and $500 jail costs. The defendant must also pay restitution to three separate victims in amounts to be determined at later hearings.
John Gordon Hanna, 43, of Goldendale, pled guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm in the second degree and assault in the fourth degree -- domestic violence and was sentenced to four months in the county jail. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $1,865 including $250 to the Goldendale Police Department Investigation Fund and $500 in jail costs. No restitution was requested by the victim. The defendant is required to undergo a domestic violence offender evaluation and any recommended treatment. The defendant will be under court supervised probation for 24 months and must report to court every 90 days to review his treatment progress.
Stephanie Lynn Cartwright, 28, of White Salmon, pled guilty to welfare fraud and was sentenced to 120 hours of community service. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $1,055 and must repay the State of Washington for all illegally received support payments.
