ROSE ALLEN
Rose Marie (Kelly) Allen was Art and Marie Kelly's sixth child and their only girl. She was born in White Salmon on May 22, 1959. She died in White Salmon on Sept. 24, 2007.
Through life's up and downs, she identified herself very simply as a beloved daughter, darling baby sister, devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother. She lived each day to the fullest of her ability and even when confronted with difficulty did not let anxiousness about tomorrow consume her today. She was always ready to meet people and make more new friends and her loved ones stretch up and down the west coast and beyond.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Allen, Auburn; sons Jeremy Allen, Seattle, and Jason Allen, Auburn; four grandchildren Rachel, Rebekah, Yekusiel and Cameron; mother Marie Kelly; brothers Leo, Jim, Jack and Bob Kelly; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services for Mrs. Allen were held on Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, at White Salmon Christian Assembly. Interment was at White Salmon Cemetery.
