Northwest author Craig Lesley will be featured in the Author's Corner at the 6th annual Trout Lake Festival of the Arts at The Farm B & B.
Lesley is no newcomer to the Mount Adams country and the Columbia Gorge area. His works include: Winterkill, River song, The Sky Fisherman and his latest book Storm Riders.
He will be reading and talking about the writing of Storm Riders on Saturday, July 21, at 3 p.m.
The second Northwest author on the festival ticket is Mary Freeman, who is back "on demand."
Besides her list of science fiction titles, she has launched a series of "garden" mysteries set in and around Hood River and the Columbia River Gorge. Devil's Trumpet and Bleeding Heart are soon to be joined by a third mystery. Freeman will discuss this third work on Saturday, July 21, at 11 a.m.
Jan Crook Pierson is the third Northwest author to be showcased.
Her latest book of historical fiction, among six, is Goodbye God, I'm Going to Bodie (California). Its two main characters from Trout Lake, travel from ghost town to ghost town with their archaeologist aunt in the first of Pierson's ghost town mystery series for young readers. This writer of children's books makes her home in Olympia. She is also the custodian of her father Cal Crook's much admired photography. Hear about her work on Sunday, July 22, at 1 p.m.
Books, courtesy of Waucoma Book Store, will be on hand for purchase and author signings.
