Share this article paywall-free Email Copy Link Families in the Park returns to Jackson Park in Hood River next month with four varied acts on stage each Thursday at 7 p.m.The series kicks off Aug. 7 with Swingline Cubs performing pop and dance hits. Lions Club will serve a fajita feed starting at 6 p.m.On Aug. 14, Knott Brothers will perform bluegrass tunes, and New Parent Services will sell fajitas.On Aug. 21, Tom Grant Band brings piano-based jazz, and American Red Cross will serve barbecue.The series concludes Aug. 28 with ’70s disco and funk music by Satin Love Orchestra. American Legion Auxiliary will serve barbecue.Community Education, Sprint Communications and other Hood River businesses and organizations present the annual series. The concerts are free.
