The annual "COMMUNITY Pride Weekend" cleanup campaign gets under way this Friday, April 27, and continues through Sunday, April 29.

Area citizens can bring paper, metal, plastics, glass, reusable household items, scrap metal, building materials, used household appliances, yard and garden debris, tires, and electronic items (including computers, monitors, cell phones, printers, TV sets, and telephones) to the central drop-off site where they will be processed for recycling. There will be a $5 charge for each passenger tire and $10 each for semi truck tires.
