Caroling for the needy

Unlike past years, when a portion of funds were used for disaster relief around the world, this year 100 percent of contributions will be used locally.

The SDA Community Service Center at 531 NE Tohomish provides clothing, bedding and food on Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for people in need.

Since January of this year over six ton of clothing and over four ton of food have been distributed to local residents.

Fifteen to 20 volunteers every month assist in providing services including transporting, sorting, washing, and mending clothes, and preparing food boxes.
