THE GORGE — The Columbia High Bruins notched their second straight win in Washington Interscholastic Activities Association Class 1A Trico League girls basketball, 42-38, over visiting Kalama High (1-1 league, 2-3 overall) on Dec. 20.

After falling behind 18-14 at halftime, the Bruins outscored the Chinooks 29-20 in the second half to pull out the win. Junior guard Halle Koch led six Bruins in the scoring column with 14 points and she also had a team-high seven steals and three assists.
