The 5-foot-11-inch sophomore post scored a season-high 19 points, 14 in the first half, to lead the Lady Redsides to a 50-26 win Wednesday in a rescheduled girls basketball game played at Dufur High School.
Mora-Lopez started with eight first-quarter points, Abby Birman tacked on five and Madisen Davis added four points and the SWC defense held Dufur without a field goal to take a 17-1 lead.
Down 16 points, the Rangers used six points by Jessica Brown, five out of Brooke Beachamp and a 3-pointer from Piper Neal in the second quarter, which inched them to within 23-15 at the half.
In the second stanza, however, Dufur (1-10 overall, 1-3 league) had 11 points on three field goals, while SWC padded its lead with runs of 14-5 and 13-6, as Jade McCoy and Davis combined for 15 points.
In all, the Redsides (12-1, 5-0) sank 22 field goals, one 3-pointer, and hit 5 of 11 free throws.
After Mora-Lopez, Davis put up 10 points, McCoy added nine, Birman had eight and both Jada Myers and Reese Millis checked in with two points each.
For Dufur, Beachamp dropped eight points, Brown hit for six and the trio of Zoe Hester, Neal and Mona Meanus ended action with three points apiece.
Dufur heads to Spray to take on Mitchell-Spray at 6 p.m. Tuesday and pays host to Echo at 4 p.m. Saturday.
SWC travels to Ione for a league game at 6 p.m. Friday, and hosts Arlington at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Nearing the midway point of the league season, the Dufur Rangers needed a spark to snap their three-game losing streak.
Daniel Radcliffe scored 26 points, Cooper Bales chipped in 13 and the Rangers expanded their 10-point halftime cushion with a 20-5 third-quarter surge to defeat South Wasco County, 62-46, in Big Sky conference boys basketball action Wednesday in Dufur.
In the decisive third period, Radcliffe and Bales did all the heavy lifting, with Bales draining three 3-pointers and a basket for 11 points, while Radcliffe drilled four field goals and a free throw to run the lead to 52-27 entering the final quarter.
SWC rallied in the fourth quarter with a 19-10 spurt, as Garrett Olson had 10 points and Oscar Thomas notched nine to close things out.
Olson posted 25 points, Thomas ended with 16, Tanner Davis scored three and Haiden Perez was good for two points to lead the Redsides, who were 21 of 51 from the floor, 2 of 12 from long range, and went 2 of 7 from the line.
Dufur totaled 23 field goals, five 3-pointers, and converted 11 of 14 free throws.
Tabor McLaughlin put up 10 points, Tanner Masterson rattled off six and Abraham Kilby checked in with four points to follow up Radcliffe and Bales.
No. 23-ranked Dufur (7-5 overall, 3-2 league) hits the road to Mitchell-Spray at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and hosts Echo at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Redsides (5-8, 1-5) travel to Ione for a league game at 7:30 p.m. Friday, hosts Arlington at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, and then hosts No. 2 Crane in an endowment game at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21.
