Huskies rebound for league split

SHERMAN baseball player Jacob Justesen swings at an Adam Knepp (not pictured) pitch during the first game of Friday’s Blue Mountain Conference baseball game in Moro. The Culver Bulldogs won the opening game by a 6-4 score, but the Huskies rebounded with a 10-0 mercy-ruled nightcap win.

Coming off a frustrating 6-4 opening-game loss, the Sherman Huskies exacted a bit of revenge in blowout fashion.

Brett Troutman drove in Kyle Fields with a walk-off RBI single to left field to cap a three-run inning in Sherman’s 10-0 mercy-ruled victory over Culver Friday to salvage a split in a Blue Mountain Conference baseball doubleheader played in Moro.
