Dufur’s Crawford jumps from 8-man to Div. III

Dufur Ranger senior athlete Curtis Crawford is making a big move from 8-man football to the Division III level after signing a letter of intent with George Fox University in Newberg. The 2017 first-team all-state tight end and defensive end and three-time state champion is slated to play a key role as receiving tight end for the Bruins this fall. He also has a core of classes lined up toward a Liberal Arts degree.

When thinking of the male influences in his life, Dufur senior Curtis Crawford names off his teammates and coaches, his father, Rick Crawford, grandfather, Ron Townsend and family friend, Russ Pishion as crucial mainstays in his development.

But, mama is No. 1.
