Daniel Radcliffe had 24 points and Tabor McLaughlin netted 22 in Dufur’s 66-59 road win against Condon-Wheeler Friday in boys basketball play at Fossil.
Radcliffe reeled off 16 of his 24 points in the second half, while McLaughlin ended up dropping 13 of his 22 in the final two periods.
Trey Darden hit for nine points, Derek Frakes had four and Cooper Bales wound up with three points for a Ranger squad that drilled 25 field goals, four 3-pointers, and made 10 of 24 free throws.
Hunter Winslow led Condon-Wheeler with 27 points, Eduardo Barrera added 10 and Cooper Johnson added nine points.
In all, the Knights had 19 field goals, four 3-pointers, and went 17 of 23 on free throw attempts.
At home versus Arlington Saturday, Bales tallied 12 points, McLaughlin had 11 and Tanner Masterson chipped in 10 points in the Rangers’ 43-29 win over Arlington.
Dufur worked a 25-8 cushion at the half and used a 14-10 third-quarter spurt to jump ahead, 39-18.
All told, Dufur made 19 field goals, four 3-pointers, and made 1 of 4 free throws.
Radcliffe had four points and the trio of Cole Kortge, Frakes and Darden finished with two points each.
Dufur (9-5 overall, 5-2 league) moves to No. 15 in the 1A rankings.
The Rangers hosts Echo at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
At 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22, Dufur travels to Arlington.
