CREWS FROM Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue mop up a fire in a wheat field along Benson Road, south of The Dalles. on Tuesday afternoon. About four acres were burned and the fire was quickly contained. Five Mile and Benson roads were were closed as crews fought the fire.
