Accidents
The Dalles City
January 9, 1:36 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 3300 block of West 6th Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.
January 12, 12:00 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, East 5th and Washington streets. Driver struck a parked vehicle. A report was taken.
Oregon State Police
January 9, 8:10 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 97 northbound, milepost 44. Driver lost control of his hauling truck due to the icy road conditions. The vehicle was towed and a report was taken.
Fire
Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue
January 9, 4:09 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 700 block of East 18th Street on a report of an odor investigation. Caller reported she turned up furnace higher than normal and left to run some errands. When she returned home she could smell an electrical burning odor. Nothing was showing upon arrival and no smoke was visible. The scent was still in the home but no abnormal levels of heat were found throughout the home. The smell began to dissipate during the investigation, no problem was found.
January 10, 8:40 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 2800 block of West 7th Street on a report of blue vapors and a chemical odor in the area. Contact was made with the caller who said he observed some light smoke or vapors in the area of an apartment complex and a burning rubber smell. The area was checked extensively and no problem was found.
Personnel also responded to six calls for emergency medical services on Friday, five on Saturday, five on Sunday and five on Monday.

A forgery report was taken Friday afternoon from the 2700 block of West 6th Street.
A hit and run report was taken Friday afternoon from East 9th and Lewis streets.
An informational report was taken Friday afternoon from the 1000 block of Verdant Street after a victim reported to staff at the hospital that her significant other was not tending to her medical needs. The incident is under investigation.
Jeremy Robert Moss, 25, no listed address, was arrested Friday evening in the 1700 block of East 19th Street on a circuit court warrant for three counts of failure to appear. He was also arrested on a Klickitat County warrant.
An informational report was taken Saturday morning from the 1900 block of Dry Hollow after a caller reported her granddaughter had been kidnapped by her biological mother. It was determined this was a civil issue over a custody battle; report will be forwarded to the department of human services.
A hit and run report was taken Saturday morning from the 500 block of Washington Street.
Hannah Rache Wanous, 19, 1013 Dry Hollow Rd., was arrested Saturday afternoon at her home on a municipal court warrant for failure to appear.
A lost property report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 1100 block of Eric Court after a victim reported she lost her cell phone the previous week and it was not returned to her.
A burglary report was taken Monday morning from the 2800 block of West 7th Street after an employee reported the business had been broken into overnight and had some items taken from within.
A hit and run report was taken Monday morning from West 10th and Pomona streets.
A theft report was taken Monday afternoon from the 2600 block of West 6th Street.
Jeramy Jackson Nelson, 45, 925 East 15th Pl., was arrested Monday afternoon in the 1200 block of West 6th Street and is accused of carrying a concealed weapon and felon in possession of a restricted weapon.
A theft report was taken Monday afternoon from the 900 block of West 10th Street after a victim reported some items were missing from his unlocked vehicle overnight.
Gelina Bridget Cheyene Crichton, 26, 1120 West 9th St., was arrested Monday afternoon at the regional jail and is accused of identity theft and first-degree theft.
A theft report was taken Monday afternoon from the 1800 block of West 2nd Street after a victim reported his storage unit was broken into.
Police responded to the 1500 block of West 1st Street Tuesday evening after an employee discovered a package that contained marijuana in it. A report was taken.
A criminal mischief report was taken Monday evening from City Park after a witness observed a suspect spray painting something inside the park. The incident is under investigation.
Wasco County
A burglary report was taken Friday morning from Dufur after an employee reported a freight door was shoved in and many items missing from within the store.
An agency assist report was taken Friday afternoon from the 2400 block of West 16th Street.
A theft report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 4400 block of Highway 30 after a victim reported having a car dolly stolen.
John Ingram Nunn, 40, 518 West 8th St., was arrested Saturday evening at Taylor Lake and is accused of violation of a restraining order.
Deputy responded to Maupin Saturday evening after a victim reported she was involved in a domestic dispute with her sister in which her sister threw a propane torch at her hitting her in the arm. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.
A first-degree burglary report was taken Saturday evening from the 5700 block of Highway 30 after a victim called to report her home had been broken into.
Ellen Danielle Walker, 49, no listed address, was arrested Sunday afternoon in Maupin and is accused of fourth-degree assault and harassment.
Jennifer Michelle Gladish, 27, 1121 West 2nd St., was arrested Monday afternoon and is accused of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Oregon State Police
A male driver was cited and released for possession of more than an ounce of marijuana during a traffic stop Friday evening on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 103.
Dale Elson Klindt, 66, 755 Division St. No. 234, was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 83 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
James Christian Rush, 34, Spokane, Wash., was arrested Monday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84, milepost 95 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants, unlawful delivery of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana. Dylan Browne Lindsey, 33, Spokane, Wash., was also arrested and is accused unlawful delivery of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Joseph Robert Morris, 37, 1002 Snipes St., was arrested Monday evening during a traffic stop at West 6th and Chenowith Loop streets and is accused of unlawful possession of heroin.
Geoffrey Lloyd Brown, 36, Gresham, was arrested Monday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 90 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended during a traffic stop early Tuesday morning at West 6th and Walnut streets. The vehicle was impounded.
Sherman County
T. Michael Waage, 59, Vancouver, Wash., was arrested Sunday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 135 and is accused of interference with a police officer, obstruction of a government administrator and resisting arrest.
Regional Jail
Juaquin Rafael Cortez, 30, Hillsboro, was jailed Friday on a circuit court commitment for two counts of fourth-degree domestic assault, fourth-degree domestic assault, and first-degree criminal mistreatment.
Anna Marie Brock, 51, Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, was booked and released Friday on a circuit court commitment for second-degree custodial interference, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
Jemaell Diamond Riley, 26, Portland, was jailed Sunday after turning himself in on a circuit court warrant for first-degree burglary and four counts of first-degree theft.
Johan Claudiu Barba, 42, Gresham, was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for a wildlife offense.
John Henry McPheron Jr., 42, Hillsboro, was jailed Monday on a circuit court commitment for a wildlife offense.
Daniel Rus, 30, Gresham, was jailed Monday on a circuit court commitment for a wildlife offense.
Theresa Lynn Lewis, 36, 4109 Chenowith Rd. No. 13, was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for carrying a concealed weapon and a wildlife offense.
