April 12, 9:15 p.m.—Two vehicle, 6th and Hostetler, one person was taken to Mid-Columbia Medical Center, report was taken.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

April 12, 8:25 a.m.—Personnel responded to the 1700 block of West Park Place on a report of a smoke or odor removal. A haze of smoke was found throughout the apartment, caused by a pan of beans burning on a stove. The burner was turned off and the pan was removed and taken outside. A fan was used to ventilate the apartment. The resident arrived and was informed this could be a serious matter and she needs to be responsible.

Personnel also responded to four calls for emergency medical services Tuesday.

The Dalles City

Duane Edward Christianson, 55, The Dalles, was arrested from the 300 block of West 6th Street for failing to appear to a bench warrant.

A woman in the 900 block of East 11th Street reported a man was coming in her house and in her yard mostly at night but sometimes in the morning. She stated her front door will be open at random times when no one has opened it and some small things have come up missing. The woman said she saw a slender male wearing a white hoodie bent over in her yard a couple weeks ago. She requested extra patrol.

A nuisance report was taken Tuesday morning from the 400 block of East 12th Street after a kid threw a milk carton into a woman’s property and refused to pick it up. An officer located the 15-year-old boy and charged him with offensive littering.

A stolen vehicle report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the 2800 block of West 2nd Street.

Wasco County

Vincent William Leslie, 26, The Dalles, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and is accused of first degree theft.

Gilliam County

Jacob Ronnie Petersen, 25, Condon, was arrested Tuesday afternoon from the 300 block of N A Street as a fugitive from another state.

Regional Jail

Kenneth Joseph Heard, 25, The Dalles, was arrested Tuesday morning for failing to appear to a bench warrant.
