Congressional Candidate

Jamie McLeod-Skinner, candidate for Congress to represent Wasco County and Eastern Oregon, speaks at an auction party at Sunshine Mill in The Dalles Saturday night. McLeod-Skinner is running against Greg Walden, the current representative, in November’s election. Her platform centers on good governance and integrity, health care and building infrastructure in rural areas to support economic development. McLeod-Skinner also met locals at the Wasco County Fair and at an ice cream social at Sorosis Park Sunday afternoon.
