A burglar picked the wrong boat to scavenge from Wednesday mid-morning, when he found himself staring down the barrel of a .38 pistol, held by the boat’s owner, Glenn Summers.

Summers had been out earlier that morning target practicing and sighting some rifles in preparation for antelope hunting. Back home, he noticed his dog was “acting funny,” so he went to check out the barn on his property in the 2400 block of West 10th Street.
