WHITE SALMON — The Columbia Bruins girls tennis team hosted their neighbors from Stevenson High Bulldogs on April 24. The Bruins are coached by Ashleigh Coyner who said the team was missing a few key players against the Bulldogs on Thursday and suffered their first league loss on the season. The Bulldogs are coached by Courtney Wheeler. Winners of their previous seven matchups, the Bruins are now 7-1 in Trico League.

Columbia’s usual No. 1 singles player, Natalie Cox, was not able to compete due to illness. Another singles player, Lani Uffelman, was in Bellevue, Washington for the Washington Future Business Leaders of America State Business Leadership Conference.
