Adam Cameron signs with Linn-Benton
Hood River Valley High School’s Adam Cameron has signed a letter of intent to play baseball for the 2017-18 school year at Linn-Benton Community College in Albany. Cameron is finishing up his senior year and is the starting catcher on the HRV varsity baseball team and was a member of the 2015 team that won the state championship.
Emily Viuhkola signs with Fresno State
Emily Viuhkola, a 2015 HRVHS graduate, will be heading to Fresno State in the fall after having a standout track and field career with the Lane County Community College Titans in Eugene. She will be a junior at Fresno State, where she will join another illustrious HRV track and field alum, classmate Jestena Mattson. Viuhkola still holds the HRVHS record in the 400-meter dash (57.32 seconds).
