HOOD RIVER — Hood River Valley’s (HRV) volleyball team won its final match of the 2025 season, 3-0, at Hillsboro to finish in sixth place in the Northwest Oregon Conference. The Eagles (10-14 overall, 7-9 league) had the distinction of winning matches this fall over co-league champion and state tournament team, Wilsonville, as well as state playoff team Centennial.
First-year Coach Emily Curtis, a former HRV player, guided HRV to its best win-loss record since the 2018 season. Curtis was a senior outside hitter on that Eagles’ team. The seven league wins tied the 2023 team for the most ever — also since 2018.
