HOOD RIVER — A split of two Northwest Oregon Conference games this past week left the Hood River Valley (HRV) softball team at 1-1 in league play and 2-10 overall.
The Eagles had a game against Parkrose rained out last week; the contest is scheduled to be played April 23 at Parkrose. On April 21, HRV resumes league play with a game at Westside Elementary against Putnam (7-3 overall, 1-0 NWOC).
Hood River Valley beat winless Parkrose, 19-0, on April 14 and lost 6-2 at Putnam three days later to start its 16-game NWOC season.
