The Dufur Rangers slugged out 19 runs on 25 hits to complete a two-game sweep over Culver Friday in Blue Mountain Conference baseball action in Culver. The wins help seal third place and a district berth. Dufur won the first game, 4-1, and took the nightcap, 15-4. Monday at Dufur City Park, the Rangers won their fourth straight game, 21-9, over 3A Riverside. Dufur (9-13, 6-6 league) heads to Union for two games starting at 11 a.m. Saturday. With the sun shining from above, the Mosier Twin Tunnels 3k, 5k and 12k run/walk paid host to 65 enthusiastic runners on Sept. 15 for local bragging rights.
