Burger and Ball Bash is tonight The Burger and Ball Bash is set for 5-6:45 p.m. Friday in The Dalles. Tickets are $10 for an individual and $40 for a family. Tickets can be purchased from the players, or at the gates Friday. The JV team plays at 4:30 p.m. and varsity starts at 7 p.m. For information, call 541-980-4594.

HR players shine in FC Portland soccer league

Hood River Dynamos U-10 boys team recently completed FC Portland’s Spring Development League undefeated, with a record of 6-0-1. For most of the players, the season was their first experience playing competitive club soccer against larger club organizations, such as Westside Timbers, Lake Oswego Soccer Club, Willamette United and FC Portland.
