The Hood River Valley Swim Team continued their championship meet swimming success with a strong showing at the Oregon Swimming Arena Short Course 11-14 Swimming Championships in Corvallis at the Osborne Aquatic Center last weekend.
The Hood River Valley Swim Team hosted their home Secure Storage Spring Sprinter swim meet on Saturday May 7. Fifty-five Osprey swimmers competed with 200 swimmers from around the state at the meet.

Hood River Valley Swim Team members, including Underwood’s Shea Kasenga, brought home a lot of medals from the Oregon Swimming 10-and-under Championships in Corvallis, Feb. 21-22.
Hood River Valley Swim Team competed in the PAC Fall Invitational Meet in Portland earlier this month at the Dishman Community Center Pool in Portland. Highlighting the HRVST Ospreys at the meet was 10-year-old Sarah Arpag, who took top honors in her age group by winning the Hi Point Award after finishing first in the 100 free and 200 free events and second in the 50 free and 50 breast.
Hood River Valley Swim Team hosted its Secure Storage Sprinter Invitational last week at the Hood River Aquatic Center. For several of the 50 HRVST swimmers in attendance, the meet was their first, while others are now seasoned racers who are focused in posting personal best times in their respective events.
