I have called Congressman Greg Walden’s office to express my concerns, ask for support of issues, request public appearances with Town Hall meetings, etc. frequently over the last two years. I have written letters to the editor and directly to Congressman Walden to express my thoughts. I have even voted for him in the past, but not this last election and never again.
To the editor: The voters of Oregon’s District 59 are in a very enviable position, two honest and hardworking individuals who would both serve us well. Darcy Long-Curtiss did not ask me to write this letter. I asked her if I could write it. I wanted other people to know the Darcy that I know, a fun, honest and very caring individual.
To the editor: Red, yellow, black and white, they are all precious in his sight, Jesus loves the little children of the world! The Trump administration doesn’t! Does Trump’s evangelical horde question why they support such immoral treatment?
To the editor: It takes longer to complain than address actual issues in life. Two days to complain or 30 minutes to resolve! Negativity won’t produce a safer community or less stress in your life.
