Historic Mt Hood Town Hall: the Restoration Continues

MT HOOD — Mt Hood Town Hall, 6575 Highway 35, has a brand new roof thanks in large part to the support from the local Upper Valley community. For three years, the Mt Hood Towne Hall Association (MHTHA), the non-profit operator of the building, has been raising funds to make the project a reality.

Rec roof demo begins

Work began Tuesday afternoon on the removal of the damaged roof from the Recreation Building, where interior beams sag dramatically and banks of ceiling-suspended TVs are askew.

There will always be a lane of travel open for vehicles on Second Street during the demo, the contractor said.
